SINCE the first auction of Barolo wines, vintners from this region of North Italy have decided to hold it in Malaysia.

For the sixth Barolo Wine Auction, to be held at Sheraton Imperial's Villa Danieli will be 50 lots of historic bottles from high profile producers.

At exactly 10pm on the evening of Sept 28 (Sunday), the auction will be on simultaneously with La Morra, Hong Kong, Rome and Sao Paulo, Brazil - via the weblink.

The highlight of the event will be a charity lot - a double magnum of 1999 Gianni Gadliardo Barolo - with the proceeds going to Polioplus, a Rotary organisation programme aimed at eradicating
