GEORGETOWN: For Kenny Chan Seow Ken of St Joseph Home, his only Christmas wish is to see that the home gets its new building.

"All I ask for is a new building to replace the one that was razed," said 14-year-old Kenny when asked about his Christmas wish after receiving goodies from Casuarina Beach Resort and Penang State Symphony Orchestra Chorals recently.

He said although Christmas should be celebrated with gifts, what was more meaningful to him was to have a new building to live in.

Kenny is one of 58 children staying at the home, a one-storey building- cum-hostel which was partly destroyed in a fire in July.
