PETALING JAYA: The Extreme Park in Bandar Sunway was abuzz with a
bevy of international beauties yesterday.
They were contestants of Miss Tourism International 2003.
The 33 contestants of the homegrown competition, in its eighth
year now, spent Christmas evening at the Petting Zoo of the Extreme
Park, and later took part in some water sports. They were also feted
to a barbeque dinner.
According to Irene Leong from D' Touch Promotions Sdn Bhd,
organiser of the event, the contestants who have been in Malaysia for
the past two weeks, have visited several tourist spots in the city,
as well as charity homes.
