KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Eric Chia Eng Hock, former Perwaja Steel
managing director, was known for his bold and hard-driving management
style.
But no one can dispute that the man who made his first million at
30, was a genius of a businessman who founded Malaysia's largest
engineering group, United Motor Works Holdings, and subsequently
helped Hicom, Airod and Proton to jumpstart in the business world.
