Article: Abric plans to boost output in North Asia

ABRIC Bhd, a security seal maker listed on the second board of Bursa Malaysia Bhd, plans to set aside a minimum of RM10 million as seed capital to invest in manufacturing-related activities in North Asia by as early as next year, sources said yesterday.

Mail Money was told the plan is centred on Abric's desire to expand its manufacturing base to outside its comfort zone in Malaysia and Thailand.

Towards this end, Abric has identified China, South Korea and Japan as possible sites for new manufacturing centres, as well as markets for its high quality niche security seal products.
