Article: Van Leeuwen plans to expand globally

VAN Leeuwen Pipe and Tube (M) Sdn Bhd, an international stockholder and distributor of steel pipes and fittings for the petrochemical and oil and gas industry, plans to beef up its presence in the global market.

Its general manager, F.Y. Wong told Mail Money Van Leeuwen is looking at penetrating the markets in Australia and West Asia.

The company has so far made in roads in China, Vietnam, Myanmar, Australia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Turkey, Sudan, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.

"We want to expand our presence in these two markets and will look into the possibility of expanding to India when the time is right,"
