Article: Abric to see 40pc revenue growth

ABRIC Bhd, a seal maker may see its revenue grow by as much as 40 per

cent, because of firmer orders for its security seal products, people

familiar with the operations of the company said yesterday.

For the financial year ended December 31 2004, Abric's net sales grew

by nearly 70 per cent to RM37.2 million from RM26.2 million in 2003.

In 2004, Abric returned to the black after suffering two years of

losses, while for the first three months of 2005, net sales grew by 45.67

per cent to RM12.25 million from RM8.41 million in the same period a year

ago.

Sales growth in the first quarter was helped by a one-year contract

worth RM5 million, and a three-year contract worth RM6 million, to supply
