Article: Asthma attack kills woman after snatch theft

SUBANG JAYA: A snatch thief took more than a handbag when he pounced on

KUUB Berhad corporate communications executive Ainun Idris.

He also took the life of the 42-year-old chronic asthma sufferer.

The handbag contained a nebuliser, which Ainun used in the event of an

asthma attack, RM3,000 meant to pay the company's car instalment and

house keys.

Nine hours after the incident at 10am on Tuesday, the divorcee suffered

an asthma attack and died at her rented home in USJ8.

When contacted, Asthma Council Malaysia chairman Dr Zainudin Md Zin

said a delay in getting her medication could have led to Ainun's death.
