MENTION Ford and the one product that is still very fresh in our mind is none other than the Ford Focus.

Ford Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a joint-venture between Ford Motor Company and Sime Darby, introduced the Focus 1.8 Ghia sedan last October and the sportier Focus 2.0 Sport hatchback in December, but it had been a long while since a Ford passenger car was last launched in this country.

In the meantime, Ford has been better known for its sports utility vehicles and pickup trucks.

So when we met Ford Malaysia managing director Michael J. Pease at his office in Shah Alam yesterday, we were naturally curious to know about the customers' response to the car model that has already received rave reviews ...
