According to "Jordan Times", the Jordan Investment Board (JIB), in
an effort to find alternative financing sources for the private
sector, hosted a workshop to introduce the activities of the Islamic
Development Bank (IDB) to businesses. The workshop brought together
representatives from the IDB and members of the business community to
present different financing opportunities offered by the bank to its
member countries. Industry and Trade Minister Salah Bashir addressed
the audience by stressing the importance of enhancing exports and
finding new markets instead of regulating the relationship between
