According to "Tehran Times", Germany delivered its last container
cruise vessel to Iran thereby making good its promises for
cooperation with the Islamic Republic. The Islamic Republic of Iran
Shipping Line and German AKER MTW had clinched a deal for German
delivery of six container ships to the country. The last one,
codenamed Iran-Ardabil, was launched in Bandar Abbas in south of the
country. Iran's shipping line has signed a deal worth 188.5 million
dollars with domestic ship builders in a bid to renovate its fleet.
