Pennsylvania Deer, Bear Scouting Report
It's been seven years and 3 million dead deer later since the
reign of antler restrictions and deer-reduction policies.
With another gun season opening Nov. 26, the debate still rages.
Are there more bigger-racked bucks out there now than before?
Have we finally brought deer numbers down to a level that doesn't
harm other things living in the forest? And are we at a point where
we can ease up?
Over at the huntingpa.com Web site, a hunter from the Big Woods
is fed up with the talk that the mountain country is drained of
deer.
