Cowtown's revived carnival is set for a bumper second year, and
the 2008 date already pencilled in for the Brixham Family Fun Day
and parade is June 7.
Organisers the St Mary's Park Friends Group agreed at their
November meeting it was a steep learning curve when the community
event was staged this summer after a six-year gap.
Joint secretary Megan Hart said the group would be applying to
Brixham Town Council for some funding to help with booking items in
advance.
She added: "The route will probably remain the same but the
police have asked for the carnival dispersal to be back in the main
park and not at Great Gates (Rea Barn traffic lights) because it
caused some traffic confusion."
