Derby became that bit closer to mainland Europe yesterday as
Eurostar launched its services from London St Pancras to Paris and
Brussels. Business leaders said this could prove a major boost for
the city's economy. Business editor Robin Johnson reports.
The beginning of Eurostar services from London St Pancras will
help strengthen Derby's place on the national and international map,
according to the city's business leaders.
They believe that being just a platform change away from places
