A MOTHER has spoken of her battle to save her six-year-old son as
he lay dying in her arms after suffering an asthma attack triggered
by a chest infection.
Alison Davies attempted to revive her young son, Kieran, as he
fell unconscious at the family home in York, but the asthma attack
was so severe that doctors were also unable to save him.
The funeral of Kieran, who attended St Lawrence's School in York,
will be held on Thursday, and he is due to be buried in his beloved
Chelsea football kit at St Oswald's church in Fulford.
Mrs Davies, who is married to Chris, said the family, including
the couple's eight-year-old daughter Saoirse, was still trying to
