A RAPIST who walked the streets for more than two decades has
finally been jailed for 15 years after new DNA evidence linked him to
two horrific attacks.
Stephen Robinson, 50, was yesterday told by a judge "there is no
hiding place" for sexual offenders after a cold case review of two
outstanding rape cases led detectives to his door.
Robinson, a partner in a window replacement firm, was arrested
late last year and admitted raping a 56-year-old woman while denying
a second attack on a woman who was just 17 at the time.
But yesterday, he was found guilty of raping the teenager by a
jury at Sheffield Crown Court and a judge told him: "It is difficult
