Mexico to host Lorena Ochoa Golf Tournament in 2008

MEXICO CITY, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- Western Mexico state Jalisco will host the first edition of the one-million-U.S. dollar Lorena Ochoa Invitation Golf Tournament on Nov. 13-16 2008, in Guadalajara Country Club, the Lorena Ochoa Foundation said in a statement on Wednesday.

The tournament, part of the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Calendar from 2008 to 2012, will also count forthe Official Money List and for the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings.

As well as the backing of her own firm Ochoa Sports Management and the LPGA, Mexican companies Banamex and Corona will put up
