Article: Youth told police of 'queer bashing' in park, court hears

A 15-YEAR-OLD boy charged with the murder of a man at Barnetts Park in Belfast allegedly told police that he and a friend had gone there to do "a wee bit of queer bashing," a court has heard.

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said in a police interview that he and his co-defendant, Raymond Paul Taylor, of no fixed abode, had armed themselves with a kitchen knife and a wheelbrace.
