The red squirrel needs government help if it is to survive
theravages of the grey squirrel.So says anew survey conducted on
behalf of the European Squirrel Initiative by NEMS market
research.The red squirrel has already disappeared from much of
England's landscape.Northern Ireland and Scotlandare nowits last
significant strongholds.According to the survey, an overwhelming
majority of those questioned want the Government to do more to save
the red squirrel."I'm encouraged at the percentage of people who now
