A 30-year-old man died after he was struck by a car as he walked
on the Upper Newtownards Road in east Belfast at around 8am yesterday
morning.Two males travelling towards Belfast in the BMW car are not
believed to have been seriously injured. One man has been arrested
and is being questioned by police.It is understood the man arrested
may have been the driver, although there is no suggestion that it was
an attempted hit-and-run.A senior divisional officer with the
Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue ...
