Staff at an Antrim Arts Centre have been left "devastated" after a
massive fire caused extensive damage to parts of the building.For
several hours yesterday morning, firefighters battled the flames at
Clotworthy Arts Centre. At one point, the flames threatened to spread
out of control, and part of an outbuilding collapsed.However, staff
pulled together to make sure the main building was re-opened to the
public by the afternoon.Chief executive of Antrim Borough Council,
David McCammick, said the fire broke out at the Arts Centre's long
barn which is used by community arts projects and as additional
accommodation to the main Arts Centre.Mr McCammick said: "It is with
