And the 14,000 fans inside Windsor Park last night together with
every Northern Ireland fan across the country and the world should
join him.
The Killyleagh man had already secured his place in the country's
footballing folklore with the winner against England and the
fantastic hat trick against Spain. Last night when Sweden came to
Windsor Park he fell short of another treble, but that didn't matter
as his two goals were enough to beat the Swedes and take Northern
Ireland to the top of European Championship Qualifying Group F.
Once again Healy was the hero and as against Spain his two goals
were taken with aplomb.
Northern Ireland came into the game with the incentive of taking
