The Haagen-Dazs stand in Columbia Mall (10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m
Monday through Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. Sunday; 964-9866) delivers
high-quality sundaes, cones and ice cream beverages over the
counter, but you'll have to find your own place to sit in the busy
mall.
As you would expect in a premium ice cream shop, flavors are
very intense, with all the creaminess that comes of a high butter
fat content.
With a few fruity exceptions, Haagen-Dazs's flavors are black
and white - vanilla and chocolate ice cream foundations with a
variety of nut, chip, cookie and swirl additions.
