However, last week I was pleased to have voted in favour of new legislation that hopefully, will result in the cost of using your mobile phone abroad being significantly reduced, which I believe is a welcome victory for consumers in Northern Ireland and across Europe.

For far too long mobile phone companies have been charging excessively high roaming charges and getting away with it.
