Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail and several relatives appear to have
taken up residence a far piece from Mister McGregor's garden.
Since spring, about a half-dozen rabbits have been living near
the Pentagon City Metro Station on a patch of grass covering a third
of an acre bounded by multilane boulevards, parking lots and an
American Telephone & Telegraph Co. warehouse.
Aside from being an urban anomaly, the cottontails have created
a curiosity for hundreds of commuters who walk past - and
occasionally feed - them on the way to and from the Metro station.
