InterContinental Hotels Group has been appointedby the Escort
Group of Companies to manage an InterContinental Hotels &Resorts
property in Islamabad. The new-build nine-storey, 260-room
hotel,situated in the heart of the capitals diplomatic enclave and
set againstthe backdrop of the Himalayan foothills, will be targeted
at internationalbusiness and leisure travellers as well as the
countrys political anddiplomatic community.
A key feature of InterContinental Islamabad will be its main
ballroom,which, at more than 800 square metres in size, will be the
