FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Erik Bedard may or may not be on the
Orioles' roster come opening day. The 25-year-old left-hander is the
first to say if he does make it to Baltimore it will catch a lot of
people by surprise.
"When I got here I wasn't supposed to be competing for a spot on
the team," Bedard admitted. "Now, I guess I'm in the mix.
"I have no idea what will happen, but it will be interesting to
watch over the next week and a half, even for me," Bedard said.
