When Dec. 1 comes around every year, the Christmas lights go on in
the home of Charlotte and Fred Klinken.
For the past 15 years, their neighbors in the Annapolis community
of Heritage Harbour have been the beneficiaries of their festive
holiday decor.
Previously, it was the Edgewater residents of Holly Hill and Selby
who could share in their decorative expressions of the Christmas
season.
Wherever she's lived, Mrs. Klinken celebrates Christmas in a big
way. For a month each year, her home becomes a holiday wonderland.
The work begins in her Santa's workshop, a hidden escape for her
