I know about Medicare Part A and B, and recently I have begun to
learn more about Medicare Part D. Is there a Medicare Part C? I don't
think I have that benefit.
Medicare Part C is what used to be known as Medicare+Choice, and
is now know as Medicare Advantage.
The Medicare Advantage plans available in Anne Arundel County are
offered by Aetna Health Inc., Elder Health Maryland and Kaiser
Permanente Medicare Plus.
Medicare pays a set amount of money for your care every month when
you belong to one of these private plans. You must have Medicare Part
A and B in order to join one of the plans.
