Lucille Adams

Lucille Bessie "Grandma Lu" Adams, 80, a resident of Annapolis for 50 years, died March 18 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Mrs. Adams was born June 3, 1924, in the Browns Wood section of Annapolis, where she attended the former Browns Wood School.

Before retiring June 1, 1983, she worked for the Anne Arundel Community College as a custodian for 15 years.

A member of Asbury Broadneck United Methodist Church, she enjoyed cooking, listening to the "Gospel Hour," watching television game shows, travel, watching sporting events and baby sitting.

On Jan. 20, 1942, she married Jacob A. Adams, who died Dec. 30, 1983.
