July 1, 15 and 29 - "Jazz in the Sculpture Garden" at the
Baltimore Museum of Art, Art Museum Drive, Baltimore. Concerts begin
at 7 p.m.
Back by popular demand, the BMA's summer concerts will spotlight
critically acclaimed regional and national jazz talent in the
museum's magnificent outdoor galleries. Next month, concert-goers can
sit back and relax to the sounds of the Winard Harper Sextet (July
1), Rumba Club (July 15) and the Stryker/Slagle Band (July 29). Note:
In the event of rain, concerts will be held in the BMA Meyerhoff
Auditorium.
Admission is charged separately for museum and concerts. The BMA
is handicapped accessible. For more information, call 443-573-1701.
