Dear Peggy: I want to get a puppy, and was trying to decide what
breed I wanted. When watching the Westminster Kennel Club dog show on
TV, I fell in love with the PBGV, a long name, meaning Petite Basset
Griffon Vendeen, a good reason for the abbreviation!
He won the hound group, and I was so wishing he would win best in
show. I would love to have one and need to find a breeder. I will
check with the AKC, or on the Web, to see what I can find.
I am a first, when it comes to owning a puppy, and need advice as
to how to take care of him / her. I work part time, so I won't be
gone all day, which is why I have waited to get a dog. Leaving a dog
alone all day while one works, must be hard on the ...
