A Jackson County man is suing his former employer for an alleged
violation of the Family Medical Leave Act.
Craig Euritt's lawsuit, filed last week in U.S. District Court in
Kansas City, claims he was terminated in November by EAM-Mosca Corp.
after he requested time off to have knee surgery.
Euritt, of Greenwood, worked out of his home since August 2002 for
EAM-Mosca, a West Hazelton, Penn.-based supplier of plastic strapping
for industrial packaging.
In July 2005, Euritt suffered a fractured tibia plateau and tore
