Judicial applicants are getting younger as a whole, but the
commission who interviews them still sees quality in them.
Of those who recently sought Jackson County's vacant circuit
judgeship, a notable number of those were fairly young, according to
those who conducted the interviews.
But that did not translate into submitting the names of
undeserving candidates.
"I was impressed," said Tim Dollar, a member of the 16th Circuit
Judicial Commission, "and that is evidenced by the three we sent to
the governor. I think all three are very, very well-qualified."
