Deer season is here at last and now in full swing.Deer
hunting is like a massive chess game that has the hunter trying to
overcome the defenses of the deer. More often than not, the deer
wins. To understand this, you have to look at the whitetail to find
out why this happens.
The first observation you make is the elongated snout, which
affords the deer an incredible sense of smell. This has created an
interesting industry in dealing with human scent and how to block
it. Cover scents, such as fox, coon and skunk urine, and essence of
