Article: A nobody in a wireless world

I think I'm becoming a dinosaur.

Not the dangerous sort that rampaged through "Jurassic Park," but a remnant of an earlier, more primitive age the pre-cell-phone era.

I'm almost the only person I know whose purse, backpack or pocket doesn't spew forth the first few notes of a Mozart symphony or a catchy little catch phrase from a pop tune at least a dozen times a day.

I don't own a cell phone. I've never had one, never even used someone else's.

It's not that I'm against technology. I'm not a Luddite, angrily punching out computer screens with my yellow No. 2 pencil or crushing cell phones under the wheels of my Conestoga wagon.
