Article: 'Julius Caesar' on stage at A Noise Within

GLENDALE "Julius Caesar" by William Shakespeare will run through May 29 at A Noise Within Classical Theatre in Glendale.

Director Eve Adamson, founder of the Jean Cocteau Repertory Theatre in New York, makes her Noise Within directing debut with this production.

Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar" uses the symbolism to tell a story wrapped in justice, politics and

corruption of ancient Rome. Adamson brings fresh ideas to the play.

She says she recognizes parallels between the political climate in the play and that of the current situation in Iraq and finds the changeable nature of people in the play and how easily they are swayed particularly significant, in regards to the Iraqi elections.
