Article: Credit union hopes to build on Bryn Mawr site

BRYN MAWR For decades, the field along Mayberry Street housed two packing houses that were part of the area's booming citrus industry.

In two years, if everything goes according to schedule, that same field will again breathe life into the community when it becomes the new site of La Loma Federal Credit Union, says Todd Murdoch, the credit union's president.

The search was on for a new location for the credit union, but available land was scarce. The credit union purchased the Bryn Mawr property at the end of 2004. The current building, on Anderson Street in Loma Linda, is 5,600 square feet. The new building will be 10,000 to 12,000 square feet and "modified mission style," ...
