Bulbs have a special place in the Inland Empire garden. They
require a minimum amount of care, most are relatively disease free
and they bloom for years. There are so many kinds available in a wide
range of colors and sizes for every purpose, whether it is in a
natural setting, a container, a house plant or in a formal garden. We
now have bulbs that bloom every month and season of the year.
We refer to the word bulb as any plant that stores energy for its
seasonal cycle in an underground storage organ. A bulb, which
