REDLANDS - The Gourmet Pizza Shoppe needs no introduction, but for
those of you who have not yet tasted the vast pizza selection at the
shop on State Street, lunch is a good time to try it out.
It was opened in 1998 by Bill Craw, who has been in the food and
hospitality industry for 25 years. Earlier, Craw ran Camp Edwards for
the Redlands YMCA.
The Gourmet Pizza Shoppe lunch special ($7.95 or $9.97 with tax)
includes a 7-inch pizza, side salad and a drink. Several of the
shop's original pizzas are on the lunch special list including
"That's a Gouda" with barbecue sauce, chicken, cilantro, red onion,
cashew, mozzarella and Gouda cheese and "Balboa Island" with pesto
sauce, chicken, new ...
