REDLANDS - It is no small feat to produce a full-scale production
of William Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar." The battle scene alone is
difficult enough.
The Redlands Shakespeare Festival's production of "Julius Caesar"
was a valiant and ambitious effort, worth seeing for its timeless
theme of political corruption and moral strife, but there were
aspects of the show that left something to be desired.
The festival performers brought great passion to roles for the
dramatic rendition of the fall of one of the most influential men of
