PASADENA - If it's June, it must be time to think about the 2008 New Year's Day Rose Parade.

At least that's what Tournament of Roses President CL Keedy is betting on. In a double break from tradition, he will announce next year's grand marshal this morning, several months earlier than usual and from the set of "Good Morning America" in New York City.

"It's because of scheduling issues both for myself and the grand marshal. It's nothing to do with New York," Keedy said Thursday from the Big Apple. So, not Rudy Guiliani then.

"To get us together, we had to do it here, and we wanted to do it sooner rather than later," he said. "We hope this provides us more
