MONTROSE (AP) - Montrose writer Mary Davis' latest works are now
available in some unlikely places - paper towels.
"I did a cover called '365 Ways To Share Love With Your Child' for
a calendar for Current, which sells catalogs and greeting cards,"
said Davis. "So they (Current) made a deal with Proctor and Gamble
and my title 'Share Love With Your Child' and some sayings are on
Bounty paper towels now."
The paper towels contain such phrases by Davis as "Every Monday is
hug day" and "Stick a dollar in your child's shoe."
"My family thinks it's hilarious," said Davis when asked about the
reaction to the paper towels. "I have 10 brothers and sisters. Guess
what they're getting for Christmas?"
