NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Saints coach Jim Haslett is enjoying the nip
that fall has finally added to New Orleans' air. He's eating well,
sleeping well. He likes his team's practices, and loves the games.
Life is good.
"When you're 9-4, you really look forward to Sundays," Haslett
said. "When you're 9-4 or 8-5 and in the playoff race, you look
forward to coming to work."
That's a feeling Minnesota Vikings coach Mike Tice envies.
"I'd kill for five wins," Tice joked.
The Saints (9-4) could clinch a playoff spot with a victory Sunday
and a loss by the Giants. The Vikings (3-10) are playing out the
string.
