Light snow showers were scattered across parts of the West and the
Great Lakes on Sunday.
A cold front that had pushed through the West Coast states carried
snow showers across California's Sierra Nevada into the Great Basin
and the northern Rockies.
Isolated snow showers were scattered from extreme northern Arizona
through parts of Utah, northern Nevada, eastern sections of Oregon
and Washington, Idaho and western Montana.
Snow lingered Sunday afternoon in parts of the Sierra Nevada, with
a few rain showers in central and southern parts of the state.
On Saturday and into early Sunday, heavy snow fell in parts of the
Sierra, with 20 inches overnight around Lake Tahoe at Incline
