EAST DUBUQUE, Ill. - Cold shooting and the combination of Josh
Cobb and Scott White proved to be too much for East Dubuque Tuesday
night as Orangeville defeated the Warriors, 58-49, in Northwest
Upstate Illini North Conference play.
Cobb and White were able to penetrate the East Dubuque defense
most of the game, and each finished with 17 points.
Cody McClain paced the Warriors with 16 points, A.J. Cogan added
15, and Tony VanOstrand finished with eight.
The Warriors shot around 25 percent in the first three quarters
before a fourth-quarter run.
"Our poor shooting hurt us," East Dubuque coach Mark Place said.
"In the fourth quarter we tried to come back, but it was too late.
