For serious photographers, taking a digital picture is just the
start of photo fun. More fun and creativity await the photographer in
the digital darkroom - a place that includes a computer, digital-
imaging program and inkjet printer. It's where a multitude of
corrections and enhancements can be made to an image.
Those personal touches to an image might include any or all of the
following: increasing or decreasing brightness, color saturation and
contrast; sharpening or blurring an area or the entire area of a
picture; removing distracting objects; adding a filter effect (such
as a graduated filter); and turning a color picture into a black-and-
