In city council elections, which are set for Tuesday, residents in
some northeast Iowa communities will have their pick of candidates.
Eight communities outside of Dubuque in Dubuque County have one or
more contested races.
Dyersville has the most contested races in the county. James
Heavens and David Dunkel are vying for the mayoral post. Molly Evers
is challenging incumbent Ray Sauser for his at-large seat on the City
Council, and Bob "Gar" Kramer is running against incumbent Mike
English from the 2nd Ward.

Dubuque County
* Asbury, Cascade, Dyersville and Dubuque - 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
* Elsewhere in the county - noon to 8 p.m.
