Tim Felderman didn't have to look very far to find a couple of
capable players to help the Rickardsville semi-pro baseball team
through a recent shorthanded stretch.
Felderman hits grounders and fly balls to Jeff Hiatt and Jordan
Kohl every day in practice as the first-year head coach at Dubuque
Senior. And he figured the two could hold their own at the higher
level of baseball.
"When you're a high school senior, and you're asked to play semi-
pro, you have to have confidence in your abilities and feel you can
have some success," Felderman said. "You're using wooden bats when
you're used to aluminum, and you're playing against older, more-
experienced guys.
