After 21 years, the Victory Bell finally tolled for St. Ambrose Saturday.

Dark since 1983, the St. Ambrose-Loras rivalry returned Saturday with a classic defensive-oriented matchup reminiscent of some of the series' best games. A relentless Fighting Bees defense sacked Duhawks quarterback Matt Hintz seven times and forced three turnovers, allowing St. Ambrose to claim a heated 16-14 drama before an estimated Rock Bowl crowd of 5,088.
